Waterfront Ratepayers After Fair Taxation (WRAFT) - A coalition of concerned waterfront associations in Ontario. Their mission is to achieve equity in waterfront property taxation. They work on our behalf to halt any unfair shift of tax onto the waterfront, find ways to mitigate rising property taxes, and fight for reform in the way property taxes are allocated.

Machar Township, home to Eagle Lake, is 18,728 hectares (46,277.90 Acres) of lakes and beautiful rolling hills covered with tall hardwood forests. Clean waters and sandy beaches to please boaters, canoeists, swimmers, water skiers, fishermen and nature lovers alike. On Eagle Lake's western shore is Mikisew Provincial Park with two hundred and fifty campsites. Spring brings maple syrup, and the Maple Syrup Festival during the month of April. During winter, snowmobilers have use of trails connected to the TOPS provincial trail system.
