MEMBERSHIP

The Eagle Lake Conservation Association has continually acted as a watchdog for all those who use Eagle Lake and the projects and activities benefit members and non-members alike.

As of 2004, 216 of the 495 residents on Eagle Lake belong to the ELCA. This compares favourably to the participation rates for many other associations. Nevertheless, improvements can be made. If 100% membership could be achieved, the additional revenue could be used to expand on current programs such as the fish re-stocking, or to create new initiatives for the benefit of the lake and members.

Eagle Lake Sunset

The annual fee is only $20.00, and is directed to the cost of providing services. The ELCA directors and those who participate in the various programs and activities volunteer their time and efforts.

If you have not done so already, please take this opportunity to join the Eagle Lake Conservation Association, or to renew your membership for 2005. If your neighbours are not members, please encourage them to join and participate in an Association which has the primary purpose of ensuring that we all continue to have a healthy lake environment to enjoy.

Benefits of Membership include:

Lake Markers for Boat Safety
Cottage Watch Program
Water Quality Monitoring
Lake Stewardship Projects
Annual Picnic
3 Newsletters per Year
FOCA Representation
Annual General Meeting
